Description
Part of the MAXSafe Cribbing Block range, the Forklift Maintenance Cribbing Set is designed to provide stable support during forklift maintenance and servicing. The stepped profile provides multiple support heights, allowing the mast to be tilted back before the supports are positioned beneath the appropriate mast structure. The mast can then be lowered onto the selected step to transfer the load onto the supports. This assists with raising the front of the forklift to provide service access.
Where complete forklift support is required, appropriately rated MAXSafe Cribbing Blocks can be used at designated support points to create a stable cribbing arrangement.
Key Features
Heavy duty stepped cribbing design for forklift maintenance and servicing
Multiple support heights for positioning beneath the forklift mast
Durable construction for workshop and industrial use
High visibility design for easy identification
Compatible with appropriately rated MAXSafe Cribbing Blocks for complete forklift support and stabilisation
Typical Use
Park the forklift on a firm, level surface and isolate it in accordance with the manufacturer’s servicing procedures. Tilt the mast fully back to raise the front of the forklift, then position the stepped supports beneath the support points on both sides of the mast. Carefully tilt the mast forward until the load is transferred evenly onto the selected steps, raising and supporting the front of the forklift for service access. For applications requiring the entire forklift to be raised and stabilised, additional appropriately rated MAXSafe Cribbing Blocks can be positioned at approved support points.
Important
Support points vary between forklift models. The cribbing must have adequate rated capacity for the load at each support point, be positioned on a firm, level surface, and be used in accordance with the forklift manufacturer’s maintenance and isolation procedures. Never work beneath a forklift supported only by its hydraulic system.
