Upon visit to our valued client, WESTAUZ Mining Pty Ltd, it was reported that Operators of the Underground Jumbo machines were experiencing extreme fatigue and discomfort. To increase overall safety, our team worked with the HSEQ&T Group Manager to source a solution.
Our team undertook significant research to source a customisable solution that would achieve the desired outcomes. In understanding that our already stocked anti-fatigue mats are renowned for reducing pressure through joints and creating comfort whist standing for long periods, it had to be an adaptation of that product.
With no standard on the shelf product to fit the jumbo booms, we manufactured our own. Another example of our team committed to seeking a solution that will deliver safety for our client’s personnel.

Built from closed-cell, longstanding Nitrile rubber, the mat compresses when it is placed under pressure, keeping the body in gentle motion to improve circulation and joint lubrication.
Vibration through the floor is absorbed by the mat, mitigating the travelling of the vibration through the body.
Crafted specifically to suit the floor dimensions of the single and double boom, the fit is snug to eliminate the risk of travelling noise and vibration.
Durable due to its heavy duty closed cell foam rubber material, it withstands wear and tear as well as the force of pressure cleaning.
Resistant to oil or any fluids, and as a temporary fixture it is removeable from the machine, convenient and easy to wash.
Self-extinguishing; Suitable for preventing the risk of fire and can be used safely in hot works.
